Pricing and Insurance Reimbursement

Let’s be honest—insurance companies can make getting mental health care way harder than it should be. We’ve spent a lot of time trying to work within that system, and while our goal has always been to make care accessible, the constant barriers, delays, and limitations ultimately take away from what matters most: you. In order to provide the time, attention, and quality care our patients deserve, we’ve made the decision to transition to a cash-based model. This allows us to focus fully on your treatment without interference, rushed visits, or unnecessary restrictions—because your care shouldn’t be dictated by an insurance company.

How to get money back from your insurance company…

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may still be able to receive reimbursement for your visits. After each appointment, we can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement rates. Please note that this does not apply to Medicare or Medicaid, as these plans do not reimburse for out-of-network services.

If cost is a concern, we may be able to offer a discounted rate on a case-by-case basis. Please call or text 513-400-4123 to discuss options—we’re happy to work with you when possible.

At Zen Life, we believe you deserve care that goes beyond the standard. Our visits are longer, our approach is thoughtful, and our service is exceptional. Take a moment to read our Google reviews and see why so many patients feel that choosing Zen Life is money well spent.
